Though it may seem as if that is what I was already doing here, I have a new goal. And that is to get all my art from FA and IB posted here, those that are far to expletive to be covered up by simply erasing the dirty parts, will be modified, so that at least one critter is holding up a question mark sign to against themselves -similar to the help button on windows for all you windows users-

Trying to get more interested in DA and this is the best idea i can think of right this second.

I don't think you and I will see eye to eye on this - I don't think you continue to use my palettes, but you've done it before. like everyone knows, you can't copyright color combinations, and it would be stupid to want that - but it also makes me feel a lot less respect for someone if they do copy something (even in their mind) and never talk about where it came from - all the experience only means so much

you don't have to respect the desire I have to want people to cite what inspired them for pieces, but it will make me very unhappy if you don't

that is all. and I am sorry for mistaking you as a non-native speaker; your writing patterns made me think that you weren't, so I should have double-checked first

You more then likely know best, there is soo much more to making art look the way you do, then just colors, an average artist could take your colors and attempt to replicate the quality and fail miserably it's that thought that gets me to say what I have said here. I respect what you said there, however I feel that all the time, effort and skill I as well implement, is significant enough, that even with colors being referenced from external sources, I should absorb all if most of the credit. I know there are some color combinations, but if I'm trying to produce work remotely close to the pros, and experts, I'm going to need all the help I can get.

you misunderstand me entirely.
whether this is language barrier or something more, I do not know and do not care about any longer. no one was ever claiming rights to colors. I was never saying you didn't study on your own.
but the references to things I specifically did were so heavy in particular pieces of yours that I strongly felt sourcing was necessary. if you disagree, you disagree - but i find it shitty of you.

I did not want to do a big huge art trade spending tons of hours of time - that was a miscommunication. I did not want to do some super orgy. art trades, for me, have always been hour or two sketches that I exchange with a person, sometimes with some painting and coloring, and they have always been stress-free. what i got from you was not at all what i expected and was... really not a good piece to be receiving as part of a trade :/ I did not have time to do a 40 hour piece about something I did not want to spend more than an hour on, making the situation awkward - and making it worse after all of the shit I had to go through when you refused to source

just because you don't mind people copying any of your palettes doesn't mean I don't mind - obviously I cannot stop people from directly taking from colors I have used and not giving any source at all, but it makes me really unhappy. so, if you want to keep that in mind, feel free to continue, knowing it makes me unhappy.

sorry I keep poking you, I just like a challenge. But I guess the most effective method of challenge is the arting kind.

you didn't ask to include that character. I would have known. I was really confused about its presence, especially since all I told you was that I wanted kecleon/eevee in it. you did way too much in it, adding in a character I didn't want, not asking me about it (if you had, you surely would have known the gender), and then just kind of copying the b/g I did. you did not ask about backgrounds, either! I did not expect a background, but it was just a copy of something I did, which was really kind of boring! things can be rendered well but still boring to me - I like novel ideas, unique things, and that was just...
not new

furthermore: do not act like it's all on me for not ignoring people, when it is because of you that the people even come my way at all! It really made me upset when you did not source me on the images where you referenced my colors and my poses heavily! me pointing this out led to a bunch of people being really stupid in my direction, and there was no comment to be had from you. that was really shitty of you! I did not want some admittal of tracing or whatever; I wanted SOURCING where you said that yes you did source from the images I pointed out. that would truly make you more friend instead of foe. :|
